White Belt Basics for complete beginners. Mixed classes from white to black belt. Advanced classes for blue belt and higher. Gi and no-gi. The room that has produced more Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts than any other academy in Canada, and the best competition results in Ontario since 2008.

Our adult program runs three tracks under one roof, all taught by the same black belts, all built on the same Helio Gracie–lineage curriculum.
Most people start in White Belt Basics: a co-ed, beginner-only room with structured fundamentals and no live sparring on your first day. From there you move up into Mixed classes, where white belts train alongside blue, purple, brown, and black belts, the fastest way to level up in a supportive room. If you're already blue belt or higher, our Advanced classes are where the competition team lives.
The exercise is the best you'll get, which is why on any given day you'll see people in incredible shape having a lot of fun. Bring water. Your first day will be less intense than the room looks, but bring water anyway.
Toronto BJJ is a team-as-family environment. Your training partners are your teammates, not your competition. Most of our members never compete. The ones who do have posted the best competition results in Ontario since 2008 and in Canada since 2009.

Classes exclusively for beginners. Fundamentals in a relaxed, honest room with some of the best mentorship in the sport. This is where most members start. No experience, no problem. The whole class is people in the same spot.

Cardio, strength, mobility, coordination, all inside a class you're learning something in. The exercise is a side effect. People stay because it's fun.
Twenty-two years on Bloor. Same coaches, same values, still growing. Team-as-family isn't a slogan here; it's what has kept people on the mats for a decade or more.
